Bursary Scheme

The Government of Goa aims to universalize Higher and Technical Education in the State, thereby increasing the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) from 35.8 to around 45. The objective is to ensure that higher education is accessible and does not remain limited to a select few.

To achieve this, the Bursary Scheme provides financial assistance towards fees for students pursuing higher and technical education in Goa. The assistance is calculated based on the actual fees paid for the course and is reimbursed directly to the student’s bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Students must first pay the required fees to the institution. The eligible amount will then be reimbursed subject to the scheme guidelines.
